01 X01 & MULTIPLAYER

Your match. Your rules.

X01 brings classic steel-tip darts into your digital arena. Play locally at one board or online against real opponents.

X01 · 101, 301, 501 and 701

Count down from your starting score to exactly zero. Choose straight, double or master entry and finish rules, plus the match length in legs. Follow remaining points, individual darts, visits and the leg score; busts follow the selected rules.

Handicaps for balanced friendly matches

Different skill levels? Let one side start at 301 and the other at 401, for example. Set starting scores from 101 to 1001 in steps of 100 per player or team. Available locally, in personal tournament rounds and unrated online games. Rated Elo and the global league do not use handicaps.

2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3

One team, one shared score. Teams alternate after each visit, with teammates taking turns in order. Play teams locally, online and in personal X01 tournament rounds. Each real online participant uses their own board.

Public and private lobbies

Create a game room or join an open seat. Use invitations for private lobbies. Select a board, confirm readiness and let the host start so everyone enters with the same rules. Local players share one board.

Friend invitations and rematches

Invite friends directly into your room. After a casual match, agree to a rematch; X01 keeps the team lineup and handicap. Tournament games instead return to the competition and its schedule.

Training bots from 20 to 100 AVG

Practise X01 against a bot with a selectable skill level. It throws individual darts and follows the same game rules. Its AVG describes the long-term level in 501 straight in / double out, not a guaranteed performance in each game. Bot practice is recorded without affecting your Elo.

02 PARTY GAMES

One board. 18 reasons for one more game.

From Cricket to Dart Football, every mode has its own objectives and rules. Find every game explained below. Games marked Plus belong to the optional extra features.

All party games and their rules

18 game modes
1–8 playersCrown Siege

Defend the shared castle through 20 waves with attack lanes drawn afresh each match. Singles tar a lane. Doubles upgrade its ballista, which fires at the end of each visit. Triples deal 50 damage immediately. Bull destroys every enemy, then needs five visits to recharge. Regular kills earn 50 glory; dragon kills earn 20. Enemies reach the castle after four steps; tar halves their speed. The siege ends at zero castle health. Most glory wins.

Open game
2 playersFight Club

Each fighter starts with 30 health. Six different numbers are drawn at match start: three targets per player. Hit enemy targets for 1/2/3 damage with a single/double/triple. Your own targets restore the same amount, up to 30 health. Reduce your opponent to zero. After 20 rounds, higher health wins.

Open game
1–8 playersKaiju Rampage

Destroy a city of 20 sectors, each three storeys tall. A single destroys one storey; a double hits the sector and its two neighbours. A triple destroys the entire sector. Bull removes one storey from every remaining sector. Each demolished storey earns ten points. Once the city is gone or ten rounds are over, the highest score wins.

Open game
1–8 playersVault Cracker

Crack a new code from 10 to 50 in each of ten rounds. Every player gets the same code in a round. Reach exactly zero in at most three darts to bank the code value as gold. Going below zero or leaving a remainder after three darts triggers the alarm and earns nothing. Single out. Most gold wins.

Open game
1–8 playersHorse Racing DerbyPULSE PLUS

The first horse to reach 15 steps wins. Each player receives a distinct number drawn for this match. Hit your displayed number to move one step for a single, two for a double or three for a triple. Hitting a rival’s number moves that horse backwards by the same amount, stopping at the start. Three darts per turn. After 20 rounds, the leading horse wins.

Open game
1–8 playersSnakes & Ladders

Land exactly on square 100. The ring sets your movement: double 1, inner single 2, triple 3, outer single 4, outer bull 5, red bull 6. Ladders climb and snakes slide. Overshooting 100 sends you backwards by the excess. All players share the map. After 30 rounds, the highest position wins. If a single has no measured position, select inner or outer through dart correction.

Open game
2–8 playersConqueror

Home bases are drawn afresh each match and spaced evenly. Expand from there into adjacent numbers. A hit claims neutral land. Reinforce your own land up to three shields. Enemy shields lose 1/2/3 strength; at zero you capture the region with one shield. Bull can be reached from any region you own. Owning bull lets you attack anywhere. After 15 rounds, each region scores ten points plus its shields.

Open game
2 playersPaintball

Paint as many of the board’s 82 zones as possible in ten rounds. Inner singles, outer singles, doubles and triples are separate, as are both bulls. Each hit claims its zone or steals it from the opponent. Repainting your own zone adds no point. Most zones wins. If a single has no measured position, select inner or outer through dart correction.

Open game
2 playersTest Match Cricket

Play two innings and compare runs. Player 1 bats while player 2 bowls, then swap. Batting scores only the points above 40 in a visit as runs. Every batting MISS loses a wicket. The bowler takes one wicket with outer bull or two with red bull. An innings ends after ten wickets or 20 overs. An over is one visit by each player. In the second innings, the batter wins as soon as the first innings total is passed.

Open game
2 playersDart FootballPULSE PLUS

20 visits per player. Bull or bullseye wins possession. While you have the ball, each of your doubles D1–D20 and bullseye scores one goal, once each. Most goals wins.

Open game
1–8 playersHigh Score

Ten visits. Every point counts. The highest total wins.

Open game
1–8 playersShanghai

Play numbers 1 through 20 in order. Only the current number scores. Hit its single, double and triple in one visit to win immediately.

Open game
1–8 playersCricket

Close 15 through 20 and bull with three marks each. Doubles give two marks; triples give three. Extra hits score while an opponent has the number open. Close everything and match or beat every opponent’s score to win.

Open game
1–8 playersHalf It

Start with 40 points. Target 15, 16, any double, 17, 18, any triple, 19, 20 and bull. Add target points. Miss the target with all three darts and your score is halved, rounded up.

Open game
1–8 playersDarts Golf

Play 18 holes on numbers 1 through 18. Your best of three darts counts: double 1, triple 2, single 3, any other field 5 strokes. The fewest strokes wins.

Open game
2 playersConnect FourPULSE PLUS

Numbers are assigned to seven columns afresh each match. Hit one of a column’s displayed numbers to drop a token. Each dart places at most one token; full columns and misses place none. Connect four horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win.

Open game
2–8 playersKiller

Each player gets a number drawn for this match and three lives. Hit your own double to become a killer. Then hits on opponents’ numbers remove one, two or three lives. Eliminated players are skipped. The last survivor wins.

Open game
2 playersTug of WarPULSE PLUS

Every hit pulls the rope towards you by its point value. Reach a 500-point lead. After 20 rounds, the leading side wins.

03 PRACTICE WITH A PURPOSE

Your next level starts at the oche.

Practise finishes, build confidence on doubles and understand your grouping. Seven dedicated programmes complement X01 bots and campaign missions.

1 playerCheckout Ladder

Check out the target in at most three darts, finishing on a double. Success raises the target by ten points; otherwise it stays the same. Ten attempts; a bust ends the attempt immediately.

Open game
1 playerCheckout Mix

Ten different finishes from 41 to 170, freshly drawn for each training session. Three darts each, double out. The sequence is fixed before play; every attempt is saved.

Open game
1 playerAround the Clock

Hit 1 through 20, then bull. Each matching field advances exactly one target. Doubles and triples do not skip numbers. Maximum 90 darts.

Open game
1 playerDoubles Round

Hit D1 through D20, then the red bull. Only the requested double counts. Maximum 90 darts.

Open game
1 playerBob’s 27

Start at 27. Throw three darts each at D1 through D20. Every target hit adds its double value. If all miss, subtract that value once. Falling below zero ends the drill.

Open game
1 player99 Darts

33 visits, 99 darts. Every hit scores. Track your average, best visit and hit distribution.

Open game
1 playerTarget Practice

Choose a single, double or triple segment. Hit it with as many of your 30 darts as possible. Other fields earn no drill points and remain visible in the hit map.

11 GOOD TO KNOW

Your questions. Clear answers.

What is free darts autoscoring?

Autoscoring turns detected dart hits into a game score automatically, without typing every visit by hand. PULSE Vision offers a free core with camera-based detection, classic X01 and basic platform features. The board, cameras and computer are hardware and are not included in the free software offer.

What do I need for PULSE Vision?

You need a steel-tip dartboard, a suitable camera setup, a computer for PULSE Vision and your 180AllStars account. Find the exact requirements and steps to connect your board in the Setup section, then choose your game on the website.

Can I use the website on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Choose games, follow your score and explore the community on a phone or tablet. The layout adapts to your screen. See the Setup section for the board equipment needed for automatic scoring.

Which games are available besides 501?

Alongside X01 with 101, 301, 501 and 701, there are 18 party games, seven training programmes, X01 bots, individually started campaign missions and custom challenges. The full catalogue on this page lists every game and its rules.

Can I play with friends locally and online?

Yes. Local players share a board. Real online participants each select their own connected board. Public and private rooms, invitations and casual rematches are supported. An opponent must actually be available; matchmaking does not guarantee an immediate pairing.

How much is PULSE Plus and do I need it?

You do not need Plus for the free core. PULSE Plus costs €4.99 a month or €29.99 a year and includes selected additional features. The platform shows whether a marked feature is currently free for your account or requires Plus.

Do my opponents need Plus too?

For a restricted Plus feature, every real online participant needs their own Plus access. Locally, the starting player’s access covers everyone sharing the board. This only applies to restricted features, not the free core.

What happens if a dart is detected incorrectly?

Select the affected dart and correct its segment directly in the game. The change remains visible in match history. Mission rewards and global challenge times only count confirmed throws without manual correction.

How do clubs and levels work?

Earn levels through confirmed mission completions. Level 5 is reached at 1000 EXP, or ten first-time mission completions worth 100 EXP each. At level 5, regular users can create a club for up to 20 members. You may apply to an existing club before reaching that level.

Is PULSE Vision the same as the PULSE browser extension?

PULSE Vision is your darts platform with its own autoscoring, games, practice and community. The PULSE browser extension connects AutoDarts to 180AllStars. Both belong to the PULSE family but serve different purposes. Your existing 180AllStars account also works with Vision.

Can I see my real board during a game?

Yes. Switch between your real camera view and a digital dartboard with hit markers. In camera view, match participants see live images of your board. No video archive is created.

Can I practise without detection?

Local custom challenges can be practised with manual darts. These attempts do not enter the global leaderboard or earn verified challenge rewards. Regular automatic match play and rewarded campaign missions need a connected, ready board.
